Seven people have died as a result of a helicopter crash in Argentina’s San Juan province.
elchi reports that San Juan Governor Marcelo Orrego announced on his social media account that a “Bell 412” type helicopter crashed in the Ischigualasto Provincial Park area of San Juan for reasons yet to be determined. Orrego stated: “We received with deep sadness the news of the helicopter crash that occurred in our province and unfortunately ended the lives of 7 people. In this moment of great pain, I want to express my deepest condolences to the families of all the victims. We stand with everyone who has lost their loved ones.”
It was reported that among those who lost their lives were San Juan Civil Defense Director Carlos Heredia, Deputy Provincial Police Chief German Videla, and fire department officials Ruben Castro and Jorge Carbajal.
