After the 2026 World Cup, the transfer market values of football players have been updated.

“Elchi” reports that Transfermarkt has increased the market value of 99 football players, taking into account their performances in the World Cup and the transfers that took place during the summer transfer window.

In this update, no player’s price has been lowered.

The most notable changes were in the values of Erling Haaland and Lamine Yamal. The Norwegian striker of Manchester City and the 19-year-old star of the Spanish national team and Barcelona have increased their market values from 200 million euros to 220 million euros. With this, they became the first football players in the history of Transfermarkt’s valuations since 2004 to reach the 220 million euro mark.

World Cup top scorer Kylian Mbappé has also reached a value of 200 million euros. Bayern Munich’s French player Michael Olise rose from 150 million euros to 170 million euros, becoming the first player in Bundesliga history to reach this mark in a club’s squad.

The player who increased in value the most after the 2026 World Cup was Elliot Anderson, who transferred to Manchester City. The English midfielder’s market value increased by 35 million euros to 110 million euros.

After the latest update, the number of football players with a market value of 100 million euros or more has reached 26. Spaniard Pau Cubarsí, with a value of 100 million euros, is considered the most expensive center-back in the world along with William Saliba.

Among clubs, Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Manchester City led the list by increasing the total market value of their squads by 60 million euros. Among national teams, the largest increase belonged to England with 115 million euros.
