On October 22, R. Zeynalov was charged as a defendant under Article 120.2.9 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan (intentional murder of a person in a clearly helpless state) and indicted under that article.

By the decision of the Nasimi District Court, based on the investigator’s petition and the prosecutor’s submission carrying out procedural guidance of the preliminary investigation, a measure of restraint in the form of detention was chosen against him.

Currently, the preliminary investigation of the criminal case is ongoing at the Nasimi District Prosecutor’s Office.
