European Council President Charles Michel has condemned the increasing attacks on the shores of European Union (EU) countries in the Black Sea and offered condolences to the families of those affected by an attack on a ship off the Romanian coast this morning.
“Elchi” reports that the President of the EU Council stated this on the social network “X”.
“I express my sincere solidarity with the families of the victims and offer my deepest condolences,” he noted.
According to Michel, the number of attacks near the shores of EU countries in the Black Sea is increasing.
“Such attacks are unacceptable and must stop,” he emphasized.
It is recalled that the commercial vessel “KHORYV”, flying the flag of the Comoros Islands with Azerbaijani and Ukrainian citizens on board, sank in the Black Sea after a drone strike. Azerbaijani citizens were rescued, one of whom sustained minor injuries.
