The Netherlands will allocate financial aid to determine the fate of missing persons in Azerbaijan and Armenia.
elchi reports that this was stated by the Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tom Berendsen, at a joint press conference with his Armenian counterpart in Yerevan.
According to him, new financial support will be provided through the International Commission on Missing Persons to determine the fate of the missing, find and identify bodies:
“In addition, we do not rule out that other assistance opportunities may be considered. We welcome the steps taken towards establishing peace in the region and hope for the early signing of a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia.”
