A total of 396 appeals regarding cases of consumer deception were received by the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control from January to August of this year.

Out of the appeals, 306 were reviewed and 130 were satisfied. In addition, 17 administrative protocols were compiled by the Agency regarding cases of consumer deception.
Consumers can obtain detailed information about the steps to be taken in cases of deception regarding the size, weight, and billing of goods, as well as the existing legal regulation tools in this area, through the “istehlakchi.gov.az” portal created at the initiative of the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control.
