War in the western direction is not needed by either Minsk or Moscow, but both countries must be ready for a potential conflict.
elchi reports that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said this.
“We are preparing for war, but we are trying to avoid it by all means – it is not needed by us or you. But one must always be ready so that it does not happen. That is why our joint grouping in the western direction will always be needed, and it is in order today,” Lukashenko noted.
