In January-April of this year, Azerbaijan exported 67,346 tons of cotton fiber worth 92.96 million US dollars.
“Elchi” reports citing Report that, according to calculations based on data from the State Statistical Committee, this is 51% more in value terms and 64% more in quantity compared to the same period of 2025.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan sold 64,855 tons (+67%) of products worth 89.76 million US dollars (56% more compared to the figure from 1 year ago) to Turkey, 2,364 tons (+2.6 times) worth 3 million US dollars (+2.2 times) to Iran, and 126 tons (+6 times) worth 174 million US dollars (+5 times) to Russia.
In 2025, Turkey accounted for 95.4% of the 109,295 tons of cotton fiber exported from Azerbaijan.
