The Ministry of Emergency Situations has appealed to drivers of motor vehicles.
According to the information provided to elchi by the Ministry, the appeal states:
“Despite the mass awareness-raising work carried out by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, it is regrettable to note that due to the irregular parking of cars in unauthorized places by some citizens, the ability of special-purpose vehicles to approach the scene and be deployed for operational intervention during various emergencies, including fires, is restricted.
The fire incident that occurred last night in the area of a residential complex in the Bakikhanov settlement of the capital’s Sabunchu district demonstrates this once again.
In connection with the above, the Ministry of Emergency Situations once again appeals to drivers, stating that for the unhindered approach of firefighting and rescue vehicles and other large-sized special-purpose equipment to the scene, their rapid deployment, and the effective conduct of operations, as well as for the convenient use of water reservoirs and hydrants during fires and other emergencies, cars must be parked only in designated places, maintaining a safe distance from each other, and ensuring free passage for other vehicles.”
