The Baku Olympic Stadium has been illuminated with the colors of the US flag in honor of US Independence Day.
“Elchi” reports that the US Embassy in Azerbaijan has expressed its gratitude to Azerbaijan regarding this gesture.
“Thank you, Azerbaijan! As the US prepares to celebrate the 250th anniversary of American independence on July 4, we were delighted to see Baku’s magnificent Olympic Stadium illuminated in the red, white, and blue colors of the US flag on Tuesday. This valued gesture is a beautiful symbol of the enduring friendship, mutual respect, and strong partnership between the American and Azerbaijani people,” the statement noted.
