On June 22, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with a delegation led by Mazen Turki Saud Al-Qadi, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

During the meeting, the importance of holding the 20th Session of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States in Baku was noted.
It was emphasized that relations between Azerbaijan and Jordan are successfully developing based on the principles of friendship, mutual respect, and effective cooperation.
The importance of successful cooperation and mutual support between the two countries within the framework of international organizations was noted.
At the meeting, prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Jordan in a number of areas of mutual interest were discussed.
