The negotiations between the US and Iran, which were supposed to take place in Bürgenstock, Switzerland, have been postponed and will not take place on June 19.
elchi reports that the press service of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs has released information regarding this.
“The planned consultations between the US, Iran, Qatar, and Pakistan have been postponed. Switzerland remains ready to mediate these discussions at any time. Relevant preparatory work is ongoing,” the agency’s statement said.
For its part, the Swiss agency “Keystone-ATS” quoted Swiss MFA representative Nicolas Bideau. He stated that Switzerland “remains fully committed to its efforts to facilitate dialogue.”
The agency does not disclose the reasons for the postponement of the meeting, nor does it provide information about a new date.
