The Organizing Committee for the Azerbaijan International Investment Forum has been established.
“Elchi” reports that President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree in this regard.
The decree states that the promotion of the economic and investment potential of the Republic of Azerbaijan at the international level, the further improvement of a favorable business and investment environment, the attraction of foreign investments, ensuring the sustainable development of the non-oil sector, and strengthening the country’s integration into the global economic system are among the main priority directions of the state’s socio-economic policy.
The decree notes that the first Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, held in 2025, which served these purposes, was an important platform for presenting our country’s investment opportunities to the international business community, developing public-private partnerships, expanding cooperation with foreign investors and international financial institutions, as well as promoting new investment projects. The established cooperation ties have created a solid foundation for developing the Forum as a sustainable international platform.
According to the decree, an Organizing Committee has been established with the following composition to organize the Azerbaijan International Investment Forum on a regular basis:

The Organizing Committee must ensure the organization of the second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum to be held on September 25–26, 2026, prepare an Action Plan annually regarding the holding of the Azerbaijan International Investment Forum and coordinate its implementation, and resolve other necessary issues related to the organization and holding of the Forum.
The Ministry of Economy shall perform the functions of the Secretariat of the Organizing Committee, and the Cabinet of Ministers shall resolve issues arising from this Decree.
