An agreement on mutual visa exemption for holders of ordinary passports has been signed between Azerbaijan and Colombia.
“Elchi” reports that the Embassy of Colombia in Azerbaijan has released information regarding this.
It was stated that the agreement was signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and his Colombian counterpart, Omar Bula, during a meeting held on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.
“This agreement will contribute to further strengthening the ties between our peoples and creating new opportunities for the development of exchanges in various fields,” the embassy’s statement noted.
It was added that the agreement will enter into force after the mutual exchange of passport samples and relevant notes verbales is carried out.
