The number of people who lost their lives as a result of Typhoon “Dujuan”, which has been affecting Japan since the beginning of the week, has risen to nine.
“Elchi” reports that the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) stated that Typhoon “Dujuan” continues to affect the eastern part of the country, including the capital Tokyo and surrounding prefectures.
The statement warned that heavy rains could continue throughout the week.
According to the “Kyodo” news agency, the death toll from the typhoon has reached nine.
It was noted that six of those who lost their lives were from Chiba prefecture and three from Kanagawa.
The search for four people missing due to the typhoon is ongoing.
