A parliamentary delegation led by Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova has gone on a business trip to the Russian Federation to participate in the Council meeting and the 60th plenary session of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS).

At Pulkovo 3 airport in Saint Petersburg, Speaker Sahiba Gafarova was welcomed by Nizami Mamishev, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of Saint Petersburg and Head of the Foreign Economic Cooperation Department, Dmitry Kobitsky, Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council, Rahman Mustafayev, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia, Aydin Jafarov, Authorized Representative of the Milli Majlis to the IPA CIS, Anar Yusifzade, Acting Consul General of Azerbaijan in Saint Petersburg, and other officials.
