The US Department of the Treasury is extending the exemption from US sanctions for operations related to the sale and transport of Russian oil and petroleum products loaded onto vessels for another 30 days.
“Elchi” reports, citing TASS, that Reuters has provided information on this matter, referencing a source.
It was noted that several states had previously requested more time for the purchase of Russian oil.
Recall that the US had previously authorized operations related to the sale, transport, and unloading of Russian-origin oil and petroleum products loaded onto tankers during the period up to April 17, to be carried out until May 16.
