In 2026, Azerbaijan extradited 22 people who were wanted internationally.
This was reported by the Ministry of Justice.
It was stated that during the current year, the total number of persons received by the Ministry of Justice from foreign countries through international search channels was 22 (11 from Russia, 3 from Georgia, 2 from Kazakhstan, 2 from the UAE, 2 from Ukraine, 1 from Montenegro, 1 from Turkey).
At the same time, the transfer of a total of 6 people to foreign countries was ensured during this year (1 to Moldova, 1 to China, 1 to Russia, 1 to the Kyrgyz Republic, 1 to Uzbekistan, 1 to Tajikistan).
