Azerbaijan maintains its rightful place among countries that can fully ensure their security. During the 44-day Patriotic War, the world witnessed our country’s military capabilities, the combat readiness of our army, and its ability to utilize modern weapon systems. The presence of state-of-the-art weapons in our army’s arsenal is a result of President Ilham Aliyev’s foresight and the consistent and purposeful implementation of our state’s defense strategy.
The activities of the Ministry of Defense Industry also play a special role in increasing our country’s security power. The development of the national defense industry expands the army’s capabilities to be supplied with modern weapons and equipment, further strengthening our state’s military potential.
According to Rashad Mahmudov, a Member of the Milli Majlis, the “ADEX 2026” 6th Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition and “Securex Caspian” 15th International Exhibition for Internal Security, Rescue and Firefighting Equipment, in this regard, is a broad platform for showcasing the opportunities our country has achieved in the field of defense and security:
“The exhibitions demonstrate Azerbaijan’s military-industrial potential, its production capabilities based on new technologies, and the expansion of international cooperation in the field of security. The exhibition is a broad platform for the presentation of modern weapons and technologies in our country’s military arsenal. The participation of companies operating in the defense industry and security sector of developed countries around the world further enhances the international significance of “ADEX 2026”. The military equipment, weapon systems, and new technologies displayed here not only showcase our country’s defense capabilities but also demonstrate the development of relations with the world defense industry and the expansion of international cooperation opportunities.
President Ilham Aliyev’s familiarization with the products and technologies exhibited at the “ADEX 2026” 6th Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition and “Securex Caspian” 15th International Exhibition for Internal Security, Rescue and Firefighting Equipment is an expression of the state’s attention to the development of the defense industry and security sector in our country.
The deputy noted that under the leadership of the head of state, victorious Azerbaijan is continuously expanding the capabilities of its defense industry:
