All five lines of the Amsterdam metropolitan area have been completely halted due to a scale system malfunction.
elchi reports, citing the “NU.nl” publication, that the transport operator “GVB” had to completely restart the train control system to resolve the problem.
The defect was discovered after one of the trains broke down.
Initially, traffic stopped on four lines, and the North-South line continued to operate, but it was later temporarily closed for a general reboot.
Dozens of passengers gathered at the “Nord” station looking for alternative routes around the city, while buses and trams continue to operate in a standard mode.
