Operations against the illegal drug trade have been carried out by officers of the Absheron District Police Department.
This was reported to elchi by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It was stated that during the measures, 3 kg 700 grams of heroin and methamphetamine were seized from previously convicted Orkhan Aliyev, 5 kg 843 grams of marijuana, heroin, methamphetamine, as well as 100 methadone pills from Elchin Mehdiyev, 2 kg 150 grams of heroin from Emil Abdullayev, 2 kg 200 grams of heroin and methamphetamine from Gulzada Aliyeva, and a total of 2 kg 763 grams of marijuana, heroin, and methamphetamine from Mehdi Rzayev, Qahir Garayev, and Parvana Safarova.
As a result of the operations, a total of more than 16 kilograms of narcotics were removed from illegal circulation.
Investigations are ongoing.
