Deputy Rector of the National Defense University of Turkey visited Nakhchivan

A delegation led by Professor Talat Canbolat, Deputy Rector of the National Defense University (NDU) of the Republic of Turkey, visited the Combined Arms Army (CAA) as part of their visit to our country.

This was reported to “Elchi” by the Press Service of the Ministry of Defense.

The guests first visited the monument to the National Leader Heydar Aliyev erected in the main square of Nakhchivan city and paid tribute to his memory.

Then, they visited the Heydar Aliyev Museum, where the guests were provided with detailed information about the multifaceted political activities of the Great Leader, including the Nakhchivan stage of his meaningful life.

The delegation visited the monument to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey, erected in Nakhchivan city and honored his memory.

As part of the visit, the guests were at the Headquarters of the CAA. They were given detailed information about the history of the establishment of the CAA, its path of development, activities, implemented reforms, and future goals. The current state of cooperation in the field of military education, prospects, and a number of other issues of mutual interest were discussed.

Various classrooms, a simulation center, and a training hall were visited at the Training and Education Center of the CAA.

During the acquaintance with the Nakhchivan Military College and the Heydar Aliyev Military Lyceum, the delegation was provided with detailed information about the reforms carried out in special-purpose educational institutions, the existing military education system, and the directions of teaching and scientific activities. They inspected the headquarters, educational buildings, dormitory, and other administrative buildings.

Within the framework of the visit, the Turkey-Azerbaijan Friendship Park and historical and cultural monuments were visited.
