On April 24, Deputy Minister of Science and Education Hasan Hasanli visited the Shamakhi district.

It was reported that within the framework of the visit, the monument to the national leader Heydar Aliyev was first visited together with the head of the Shamakhi District Executive Power, Tahir Mammadov, and wreaths were laid in front of it. During the visit, meetings were held with a group of parents and teachers from the Mountainous Shirvan region. At the meeting with parents, the results achieved by students and the strengthening of family-school cooperation were discussed.
The Deputy Minister noted that improving students’ academic results is a key priority, stating that the results achieved are an indicator of the joint responsibility of the school, the teacher, and the family. Parents emphasized the importance of strengthening school–student–family cooperation, increasing student motivation, and stimulating students who show successful results.
The meeting also highlighted the direct impact of early childhood education, especially the quality of kindergarten and primary education, on future outcomes. During the meeting, which was attended by teachers who achieved high results in recruitment and certification exams, an exchange of views took place on the professional development of educators, improving the quality of lessons, assessment criteria, the application of innovative approaches in the teaching process, and future goals. At the same time, the application of the full-time employment model and the positive impact of the certification process on the quality of teaching were noted.
In his speech, Hasan Hasanli noted that education workers set an example for students through their behavior, emphasizing that this plays an important role in the upbringing of children. During the meetings, proposals were also put forward regarding increasing the number of STEAM centers in the regions and developing the professional skills of teachers working in inclusive classrooms.
At the conclusion of the meetings, the importance of comprehensive measures to improve the educational environment and strengthen a results-oriented approach was noted.
