Today, the 90 billion euro loan approved by the European Union (EU) for Ukraine will be repaid through reparations that must be paid by Russia to Ukraine.
elchi reports that the press service of the EU Council has released information regarding this.
According to the information, payments to Ukraine under the loan will begin from the second quarter of this year.
“The loan will help cover the country’s most urgent budgetary needs and its defense-industrial capacity requirements for 2026 and 2027,” the statement says.
