4 Iranian oil tankers have bypassed the US blockade in the Strait of Hormuz and entered the territorial waters of the Islamic Republic.
“Elchi” reports that the independent maritime intelligence company “Tankers Trackers” released this information based on satellite imagery.
“Based on satellite imagery, 9 Iranian oil tankers are visible in the port of Chabahar today,” the report stated, adding that there were 5 oil tankers in this port on April 21:
“Over the past two days, 4 Iranian oil tankers have successfully bypassed the US blockade and entered the territorial waters of the Islamic Republic.”
It should be noted that on April 22, at the request of countries experiencing fuel shortages due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, the US extended the easing of sanctions on the maritime supply of Russian and Iranian oil for a period of 30 days.
