Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov met with the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania, Ferit Hoxha, in New York on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

During the meeting, the Azerbaijan-Albania bilateral agenda was discussed. The importance of sustained political dialogue, high-level contacts, and mutual support within international organizations, including the UN, was emphasized.
Jeyhun Bayramov spoke about Azerbaijan’s significant contributions to Europe’s energy security through key energy and transport connectivity projects.
The Minister also briefed the other party on post-conflict regional realities, regional and international security issues, as well as ongoing peace efforts with Armenia.
