Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Keisal Melissa Peters, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, and Consumer Affairs of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

During the meeting, the current state and development prospects of relations between Azerbaijan and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines were discussed.
The parties emphasized the importance of intensifying political dialogue, increasing mutual contacts and visits, as well as strengthening the institutional foundations of bilateral relations.
The meeting highlighted the importance of further strengthening multilateral cooperation and mutual support within the framework of the UN and the Non-Aligned Movement.
As a result of the discussions, a Protocol on political consultations was signed between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, and Consumer Affairs of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
It was stated that the document will strengthen institutional ties between the relevant agencies of the two countries, facilitate the development of regular diplomatic contacts, and enable the expansion of cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
