The Main State Traffic Police Department has appealed to drivers regarding the situation on the roads during adverse weather conditions.

It was stated that, according to the National Hydrometeorology Service, windy and rainy weather is expected in the capital and various regions of the country over the weekend.
“The mentioned adverse weather requires drivers to be more careful in terms of road traffic safety.
In particular, considering that foggy and drizzly weather expected at night and in the morning significantly limits visibility, and taking into account the importance of preventive measures against potential consequences of strong winds, drivers, especially individuals and legal entities engaged in cargo transportation, must take necessary precautions and unconditionally comply with safety rules.
The Main State Traffic Police Department, while once again drawing attention to the fact that traffic intensity will increase on roads of national importance over the weekend, recommends that drivers traveling to the regions be more responsible in rainy weather, not exceed speed limits, ensure their vehicles are in good working condition, and travel during daylight hours as much as possible,” the appeal stated.
