President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic Thongloun Sisoulith thanked President Ilham Aliyev for his proposal regarding Lao students.

“Mr. President noted that conditions will be created for Lao students to study in Azerbaijan. In the past, Azerbaijan has supported Laos in this area, and more than 2,000 Lao students and specialists have studied and graduated here. This process will be restarted and developed. This is a great support for the future of our people,” emphasized the President of Laos.
The President of Laos stressed that he will hold a number of meetings within the framework of his visit to Azerbaijan.
He added that after these discussions, the parties will continue cooperation in many areas: “Within the framework of this visit, I will have the opportunity to meet with the Speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan and strengthen inter-parliamentary cooperation. At the same time, I will also meet with the Prime Minister and other relevant ministers.”
