The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has announced its forecast for average daily global oil demand for 2026-2027.

According to the report, average daily global oil demand next year will be 108.28 million barrels (previous forecast figure – 108.19 million barrels), which is 2.55 million barrels more than the forecast figure for 2026.
According to the forecast, the figure for this year is projected to be 105.72 million barrels (previous forecast figure – 105.84 million barrels), which is 0.18 million barrels more than the figure for 2025 (105.54 million barrels).
It should be recalled that in 2024, global daily oil demand averaged 103.84 million barrels.
