On October 13, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, met with a delegation led by the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Hun Manet, who was on a visit to our country.
According to the Ministry of Defense, information was provided to “Elchi” that detailed information was given about the historic Victory of the Azerbaijani Army in the 44-day Patriotic War, as well as the combat experience and results achieved leading to this Victory.
Prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Cambodia in the fields of military, military-technical, and military education were discussed.
The parties emphasized the importance of developing relations in the defense and security sectors, including holding joint exercises and mutual experience exchange. Detailed discussions were also held on other issues of mutual interest.
