Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Sudan to Azerbaijan, Enas Eltayeb Elqaylani Mustafa.
This was reported to elchi by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the friendly relations based on mutual respect between Azerbaijan and Sudan. It was stated that there are favorable opportunities for the development of cooperation between our countries in the field of prevention and elimination of the consequences of emergency situations.
The mutual benefit of cooperation between the responsible bodies of the two countries for emergency management in the areas of civil defense, fire safety, and other directions, including the exchange of experience and specialist training, was emphasized.
Other issues of mutual interest were discussed at the meeting.
