French President Emmanuel Macron will hold a meeting of ministers at the Elysée Palace on the evening of October 6 in connection with the ongoing mass protests by schoolchildren and workers.
“Elchi” reports that sources close to the president told BFMTV.
It was noted that Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu, Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez, and National Education Minister Edouard Geffray will attend the meeting.
Earlier, the French Ministry of Interior announced that 256,000 people participated in protest actions across the country, including 56,000 in Paris. Parents, teachers, university students, and trade union representatives joined the protesting high school students.
