A joint training was held by the State Fire Control Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Coast Guard of the State Border Service.
According to the information provided to “Elchi” by the Ministry, the training held at the Coast Guard of the State Border Service involved the State Fire Control and State Fire Protection services of the MES, as well as relevant personnel and equipment of the SBS.
The purpose of the training was to instill behavioral rules related to emergencies, including fires, in the personnel of the SBS Coast Guard, to further improve the activities of fire protection units, and to enhance the professional skills of the personnel in rescue operations.
In the theoretical part of the event, MES employees provided detailed information about necessary behavioral rules and evacuation measures during emergencies, including fires. Also, the participants of the training were visually demonstrated how to use primary fire extinguishing equipment, and their questions were answered.
In the practical part of the training, after the “Alarm” signal was given in connection with a simulated fire, the Coast Guard personnel made an initial intervention to the simulated fire, while the fire protection units of the MES arrived at the scene in an operational manner and carried out operations to evacuate “victims from the dangerous area”, conduct agile reconnaissance at the “fire” site, and “extinguish the fire”.
After the successfully conducted training, the results obtained were discussed, relevant tasks were assigned, and educational materials were presented to the personnel responsible for fire safety of the facility.
