Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev, who is on a visit to Iran, has met with the President of the Islamic Republic, Masoud Pezeshkian.
“Elchi” reports, citing IRIB, that the development of Iran-Azerbaijan relations was discussed at the meeting.
“The development of land, air, and railway routes creates a foundation for strengthening relations between Tehran and Baku,” the report stated.
During the meeting, the strengthening of transport and corridor routes and the utilization of existing opportunities were emphasized.
It should be recalled that yesterday, within the framework of the visit of the delegation led by Sh. Mustafayev to Iran, a meeting of the co-chairs of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation between the two countries was held.
