President Ilham Aliyev spoke about an interesting incident that occurred during the withdrawal of the Armenian armed forces from the liberated territories.
“Elchi” reports that during his speech at the meeting dedicated to the “State Program for the Development of the Mining (metal ores) and Metallurgical Industry in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027-2030”, the head of state recalled the actions of the Armenian armed forces while leaving Kalbajar and Lachin.
Ilham Aliyev stated that the Armenian side was given 2-3 weeks to leave the territories. During this period, along with the destruction of trees and other damages, it was noted that even sanitary facilities were dismantled and taken away.
“Everyone remembers well that they were both destroying trees and did not forget the plumbing. Apparently, there were two most valuable things for them: one was to completely destroy the nature of Azerbaijan, and the second was to take the most valuable plumbing fixtures with them,” the President noted.
