To ensure reliable security, it is important not only to combat existing threats and their consequences but also to identify risks in advance and prevent them in a timely manner.
“Elchi” reports that this is stated in President Ilham Aliyev’s address to the participants of the 4th Baku Security Forum.
According to the head of state, for this purpose, strengthening mutual trust between states, developing professional relations between security agencies, and increasing the effectiveness of mutual information exchange are of particular importance.
“Experience shows that partnerships built on open and reliable dialogue allow for more agile and effective prevention of even the most complex security challenges,” the President of Azerbaijan noted.
President Ilham Aliyev emphasized that Azerbaijan considers ensuring international peace and security, strengthening mutual trust between states, and expanding cooperation as key priorities: “Our country attaches great importance to promoting dialogue on security issues and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation on various international and regional platforms.”
