In order to ensure that passengers can conveniently use the “Avtovağzal” and “Xocəsən” metro stations, which operate free of charge, the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency has designated these stations as intermediate stops for regular bus routes.
“Elchi” reports, citing AYNA, that routes traveling from the Baku–Sumgayit road towards the capital will use these stops.
Specifically, the bus stop area in front of the “Avtovağzal” metro station (on the “Pyramid” side) has been grouped and divided into 3 sections for regular routes, and the stop has been marked with appropriate signs for the convenience of passengers.
Bus routes 500, 503, and 508 from Sumgayit city and Jeyranbatan settlement, 119 and 135 from Khirdalan city, 142, 525A, and 525B from Masazir village, 114A and 114B from Mushfigabad settlement, 156 and 156A from Hokmali settlement, 158 from Sulutepe settlement, 159 from Chichek settlement, 170 from Binagadi settlement, and 83A from Bilejeri settlement will use this as an intermediate stop.
A special traffic lane has been organized in the area to allow buses to re-enter the Baku-Sumgayit road easily and without obstruction.
At the same time, the “Xocəsən” metro station has been designated as an intermediate stop for bus routes 130 from Lokbatan settlement and 102 from Xocəsən settlement.
