40 kilograms of narcotics have been removed from circulation in the Khazar district.
This was reported to “Elchi”- by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It was stated that as a result of measures taken by officers of the 1st Police Station of the Khazar District Police Department, Mirza Huseynov, suspected of illegal drug trafficking, was detained. 40 kilograms of narcotics were discovered in his possession.
Investigations revealed that the detained individual had obtained the narcotics through a foreign citizen he met on social media, whose identity is currently being investigated, and planned to deliver them to various addresses in the capital to organize their distribution.
The investigation is ongoing.
