Operation of a gas station in Fuzuli suspended – VIDEO

The operation of a gas station that violated safety requirements in Fuzuli has been suspended.

According to the information provided to “Elchi” by the Press Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, inspectors from the State Agency for Safe Working in Industry and Mining Control of the Ministry of Emergency Situations conducted a planned inspection at the gas station owned by Ibishov Taryel Kazim oglu, operating in the 1st Qayidish settlement of Fuzuli district.

During the inspection, violations posing a threat to human life and health were discovered at the station.

Specifically, it was determined that the two fuel storage tanks operated at the gas station lacked plates indicating the tank number, the name and brand of the petroleum product stored, the maximum filling height, and the base height; no technical passport had been prepared; the facility was not registered in the unified state register of potentially hazardous objects; the tanks had not undergone technical safety expertise and certification; and one operator engaged in the operation of potentially hazardous devices and equipment had not passed certification, among other issues.

It was noted that, considering the violations could not be immediately rectified and posed a threat to human life and health, the operation of the station was suspended by the Agency’s employees, and a copy of the act prepared for the rectification of the violations was presented to the entrepreneur.

In addition, a preventive discussion regarding technical safety was held with the facility owner, and relevant recommendations were provided for the rectification of the discovered violations.
