On September 4, a phone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mukhtar Tleuberdi.
According to the information provided to elchi by the MFA, during the phone conversation, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov sincerely congratulated Mukhtar Tleuberdi on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs and wished him success.
The ministers discussed the current agenda of strategic relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, the current state of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, as well as prospects for the development of cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov noted with satisfaction that Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan relations are developing dynamically based on the principles of friendship, brotherhood, mutual trust, and solidarity. The importance of further expanding bilateral ties in all areas and enriching them with new content was emphasized.
During the conversation, the effective cooperation and mutual support between the two countries within the framework of international and regional organizations were also highly appreciated. The importance of continuing mutual activities and coordination of positions on multilateral platforms was noted.
During the phone conversation, a broad exchange of views also took place on other regional and international issues of mutual interest.
