“Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC has transported more than 7.3 million passengers in January-August of this year.
“Elchi” reports with reference to ADY that this is 18% more compared to the same period last year.
During the mentioned period, 6.9 million passengers traveled via the Absheron circular railway (17% increase), 396 thousand via inter-district routes (15% increase), and 53 thousand passengers via the international Baku-Tbilisi-Baku route.
In August of this year, a 24% increase was recorded in total passenger transportation (more than 913 thousand).
