Employees of the Khazar District Police Department have conducted an operation against the illegal drug trade.
elchi reports that during the operation, 53-year-old Fariz Khalilov, suspected of the aforementioned criminal act, was detained.
During a search of the vehicle he was driving, 45 kilograms and 210 grams of marijuana were discovered. In his statement, F. Khalilov claimed that he had acquired the narcotics with the intention of delivering them to various addresses.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident, and a pre-trial detention measure has been selected for the detained individual by the court’s decision. Investigations are ongoing.
