Iran has conveyed its response to the proposal put forward by the US to the American side through Qatar, thus not allowing the resumption of discussions regarding the nuclear program.
“Elchi” reports that this was stated by the spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Saeed Khatibzadeh.
Khatibzadeh emphasized that the restoration of security in the Strait of Hormuz will only be possible if concrete steps are taken by the US.
According to him, these steps include the complete cessation of obstacles to Iran’s commercial shipping, the lifting of all unilateral and recently imposed sanctions, as well as an end to military interventions.
