Person calling for the assassination of Zelensky arrested in Poland

In Poland, police have arrested a 40-year-old man who posted offensive remarks and called for the assassination of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on social media.

“Elchi” reports that “RMF FM” has provided information regarding this.

The suspect is charged under two counts: public incitement to commit murder and defamation.

During the investigation, the man confessed to his guilt and expressed remorse. He told law enforcement officers that he had published the posts under the influence of emotions and now regrets his actions.

The investigation is being conducted under the supervision of the Muszyna District Prosecutor’s Office. The detained individual faces up to three years in prison.

It should be recalled that Volodymyr Zelensky visited the Polish city of Lublin from the USA on July 29.

This was his first visit to the region since he was stripped of a Polish order.

During the visit, Zelensky met with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. The parties discussed investments in Ukraine, cooperation in the field of air defense, as well as other areas of bilateral interaction.
