Georgia’s Minister of Culture Tinatin Rukhadze has resigned.
“Elchi” reports that she stated this in a released statement.
Tinatin Rukhadze attributed her departure to health reasons.
It should be noted that Tinatin Rukhadze had been serving as the Minister of Culture and Sports of Georgia since October 2024. In 2025, two independent institutions—the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Sports—were established based on the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Georgia. Tinatin Rukhadze was appointed as the Minister of Culture at that time.
