Farmers who want to receive a subsidy for repeated sowing in Azerbaijan must enter the declaration regarding this into the Electronic Agricultural Information System (EKTIS) by August 1.
“Elchi” reports that this was stated in the Ministry of Agriculture’s warning to farmers.
The repeated sowing subsidy is also transferred to the “Farmer card”. The farmer can cash out and use 25% of the funds, and can purchase seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides with the remaining 75% without cashing it out.
According to the rules, penalties and fines are applied to persons who do not use the subsidy funds for their intended purpose and attempt to use the non-cashable part of the farmer card in cash.
