A meeting of the Central Conscription Commission was held at the apparatus of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription to discuss the progress of the October conscription for active military service.
This was reported to elchi by the Press Service of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription.
It was stated that at the meeting chaired by the Head of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, Major General Mursal Ibrahimov, the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On the conscription of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan for active military service from October 1 to 30, 2026, and the dismissal of servicemen of active military service to the reserve” was discussed.
It was noted that the State Service has taken the necessary steps to successfully implement the October 2026 conscription and to qualitatively staff the Armed Forces with servicemen of active military service.
It should be noted that the Central Conscription Commission, established by the relevant Decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, directs and supervises the activities of the district (city) conscription commissions regarding the conscription of citizens for active military service. 15 state bodies are represented in the Central Conscription Commission.
At the end of the meeting, relevant decisions were made on the issues on the agenda.
