The health of Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan has deteriorated in recent weeks.
elchi reports that “Hraparak” has disseminated this information.
It was stated that he did not participate in the commemoration ceremony of the October 27 incident and did not lay a wreath in front of the monument: “He has also recently canceled his participation in a number of events and trips, including events within the framework of COP-17. As an exception, he participated in the opening ceremony and an event where he gave a speech”.
According to the publication, Khachaturyan is also occasionally at the presidential residence:
“The President of Armenia has been experiencing health problems for a long time. In fact, people have recently observed changes in his appearance.
Yesterday, the solemn awarding ceremony for the winners of the 2025 International Award for Human Development was held at the “Dvin” complex. Although the event was planned to be chaired by Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan, he did not attend the ceremony. However, high-level guests, including the Queen of Spain and the Saudi Arabian Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, attended the event. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the guests and participated in the event.”
