5000 spectators watched the “Kapaz” – “Baku Sporting” match (3:1) in the II qualifying round of the Azerbaijan Cup.

Until now, the highest number of spectators in the first 2 qualifying rounds was 1500. The record, set in the 2023/24 season in the “Turan Tovuz” – “Goygol” (5:1) match of the II qualifying round and repeated in the 2024/25 season in the “Sheki” – “Shamkir” (0:1) match of the I qualifying round, has been broken in Ganja with a 3.33 times higher figure.
In total, 6830 spectators attended the 12 games of the round. This is a record for the II qualifying rounds. In the 2023/24 season, 3955 spectators were recorded in 11 matches, in the 2024/25 season, 2780 in 11 matches, and in the 2025/26 season, 2000 in 12 games.
Considering that there were 780 spectators in the 6 games of the I qualifying round, 7610 spectators watched the first two rounds. This is also the highest figure for the last 4 seasons. In the 2023/24 season, 5615 spectators were recorded, in the 2024/25 season, 4560, and in the 2025/26 season, 2290.
